Don’t be afraid to ask for help

We would all like to think we are good at asking for help. It would seem arrogant to think we would not ever need the help, in fact; all people talk about now is help.

Self-help is a big one, with books flying off the shelves and podcasts that have us listening our lives away. Don’t get me wrong, they can be very “helpful”, but if they worked, wouldn’t you only need one book?

I have made it a life-long habit to ask for help. I always worked with the best teachers, regardless of cost or convenience. It began with training, I wanted to learn how to build muscle; then I wanted to learn how to build strength. Later, I wanted to learn how to eat to support my performance and as a consequence it also developed aesthetics. After that, I wanted to become more mobile and graceful. After that, I wanted to learn how to run a business. After that…

The thread that ties all of these together is that they all came to fruition because I was not afraid to ask for help. I was not afraid to lose time or money either, because I knew it was going in the right place, to the right people for the job.

I have spent over $50,000 (seriously) on my private education with the professionals above, and I still invest to this day. This is completely separate from university.

Never be afraid to ask for help. Look for great teachers and pull everything out of them that you can. Invest in yourself, invest in EDUCATION.

Why?

Because your education will stick around long after your teachers are gone.
